Biography - Thomas Doyle, Esquire, has been a lifelong resident of Washington, D.C., and Maryland and a leader in the community. He founded his law practice in 1992 and over the years has recovered in excess of $50 million on behalf of his clients. He is a noted trial lawyer recognized by multiple organizations for his accomplishments in the courtroom.Tom Doyle has been recognized by the National Trial Lawyers Association as one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in America. He has also been recognized as one of the top attorneys in Washington, D.C., and Maryland. He is also a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, one of the most prestigious groups of trial lawyers in the United States with membership limited to attorneys who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements. Less than 1 percent of all U.S. lawyers are members. Tom has also been accepted as a member of the Trial Masters Association. Tom was the commissioner of the PBL for the initial three years of the league. He is the founder and owner of the professional basketball team — the Maryland Nighthawks, later changed to the Washington GreenHawks when the organization became the first green professional sports franchise. Tom has consistently been involved in the work of various charitable organizations, primarily to benefit children with particular emphasis on underprivileged children. Tom is sought after by many businesses for strategic planning advice in all aspects of business development from raising capital to public offerings. Over the years, he has represented professional athletes and sports related businesses in complex transactions and has been an advisor to many sports and entertainment-related companies.
